This month has seen us 100% focussed on finalising the new User Interface and Workflow for taking out of beta as of March 6. Always much more work than one would think carrying out the polish and bug fixing. 🤯

Our focus for the month
- AccountKit 2.0
- Refinement of tools & elements polished and ready under the new UI

- Single Page Application (SPA - Dynamic URL for speedy page loading) has been through many rounds of improvements across the whole of AccountKit. Includes the client group and detail pages, practice settings, user maintenance and user profile pages.
- Professional development saw some extra tweaks to capture more details in the history record, the dynamic adding of affiliates from the record and various visual fixes.
- Fuel tax credit calculator has finished its refinements and is now good to go.
- Important items register has also finished all refinements ready for release resulting in a much more useable practical tool.
- Simple & Flexible loan calculator has been through all refinements ready for release.
- Correspondence register re-write is nearly complete; Now with functionality to share via in-app notifications, slack, teams and email + corresponding UI updates.
- Early Repayments, Compounding & Simple Retirement Calculators have gone through multiple iterations and are nearly ready for release.
- Equipment finance has had the "balance at" date added to the new UI.
- Client detail page now allows for multi-line addresses to align with XPM.
- Practice Settings have all been re-written:
- Re-organise the settings collating all tool related elements into one tab and practice registers in another
- Realtime update to colours and logo.
- Refinements to the Last name, First name client name convention settings and the way this integrates with XPM.
- With the integrations tab upgrade, the Slack and Teams integration was upgraded to the latest encryption methodologies and various tidy up and optimisations applied to all integrations
- Re-write of the global tags component.
- Refining of the "pusher" tech that enables global access to real time updates across all of AccountKit including work in relation to workflow & correspondence register notifications.
- Update to the notifications including utilising the "pusher" to update in real time + enable windows notifications for events, support for HTML, other detail to enable future filtering of notifications.
- Update to the functionality to minimise tools to a tab to improve speed and reliability under the new dynamic URL.
- Re-write of all onboarding Appcues Flows for legacy and new users to reflect a more detailed onboarding process

- Workflow
- Refinements to get all elements behaving properly under the new Single Page Application.
- Fixed a bug where the an error is generated upon deletion of a comment.
- Enabled the ability to toggle addition/removal of tasks etc from Daily plan.
- Updated the logic for the daily plan - where a task is marked as done in the daily plan, it doesn't necessarily mean it's complete. So they should be able to add back to the daily plan again.
- Fixed a bug where the comment placeholder doesn't clear upon loss of focus.
- Fixed a bug where upon creation of a task template from a task or duplicating a task will bring deleted sub-tasks with it.
- Refinement of tools & elements polished and ready under the new UI

- Fixed bug where the list view wasn't showing the correct balance if a one-off event has occurred.
- Added validation check to one-off events where payout values for refinance & payout total is less than the principal.
- Removed notifications for successful equipment finance posts; Created a lot of noise with no real benefit causing significant notifications to be missed.
- Inter-entity loan
- We rolled back some prior changes and updated the reconciliation process that was causing some journals to be duplicated and incorrect entries matched.
- Other
- Fixed an issue where SMS errors were not shown when sending from the Correspondence Register including updating to ensure they're readable.
- Fixed an XPM sync issues where the import process would stall if there was an error updating a client due to the validation action. The process will now continue and notify of any issues.
- Fixed a bug where the workflow tool would re-assign the default folder for a client after changing folders within a task.
- Fixed a bug where merging duplicate clients could duplicate practice authorities.
- Fixed a bug that caused the colour picker boxes to wrap incorrectly.
- Fixed a bug that was causing phone and fax numbers to post back to XPM without spaces.
- Updated logic associated with change affiliates to clients and vice versa.
- If there's an XPM ID, user receives a message to restore manually in XPM
- If no XPM ID, a new client is created in XPM.
- Further refinements to the individual name format and the way it works with XPM.
- Move the post back to XPM from modal to a new toggle that defaults to off “Enforce individual display name in XPM”. Only show the toggle if XPM is connected.
- Implement the apply button for these options to open the confirmation popup
- Disable the options when the XPM process is running.
- Send an AK support notification email when the XPM update finishes.
- If the option “enforce name in XPM” is turned off but the name format does not change, don’t open the popup but just update the option.

Welcome to 2023 - January was a bit of a slow month with the majority of the team taking some well needed time off. We're back on track now doing the last round of polishes ready for the rull release of the new UI and Workflow out of Beta.

- Fuel tax credit calculator has gone through a series of polish and it's nearly ready to go.
- Added new cross icon to clear filters.
- Fixed a bug in the client detail page where a linked contact wouldn't show data until the page was reloaded.
- Adding functionality to show underline when a new select combo is in focus
- Refinements to the way tab stops work to make them behave better across all tools.
- Much work on the upgraded Correspondence Register (combined with the mail register)
- Upgraded the notifications area to the new UI.

- Added many more details to the cardwall view.
- Various optimisations to speed up the loading of pages (eg. late load on cardwall; date picker refinements)
- Fixed a bug where the repeating task calendar always returning you to the current month.
- Fixed a bug where the date wasn't translating correctly between UTC and local time, resulting in incorrect task names utilising date placeholders.
- Fixed a bug where the opening status wasn't being set according to the repeating template.
- Fixed a bug where the related tasks showing were incorrect when a client isn't part of a group.
- Fixed a bug where the scroll to load sometimes fails.

- Added to all summary reports the ability to "show archived" in the reports.
- Added the Registration and Contact Numbers to the PDF export for all schedules.
- Fixed the list view not showing the correct value after a one-off event for the current balance.
- BGL Integration
- Enabled an option to "show credits" where there is a negative number on the dashboard.
- Fixed an issue where a record hasn't been linked to AccountKit, it will instead show the BGL company name and ACN, rather than a blank row.
- Added ability sort by client name.
- Updated the API calls inline with BGL API update request.
